Overview

Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP

The Fireblade SP is Honda’s sharpest weapon. Developed with heavy input from the HRC MotoGP program, it is built to win races, specifically aiming for V4-like performance from an inline-4 engine.

Born to Race

The engine shares the same bore and stroke as the RC213V-S MotoGP replica. It uses titanium connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons to rev higher and faster than any previous Fireblade.

  • Horsepower: 215 HP
  • Redline: 14,500 RPM
  • Handling: Telepathic

Öhlins Smart EC Suspension

The SP model comes standard with the second-generation Öhlins Smart EC electronic suspension. The NPX fork uses a pressurized damping system to minimize cavitation, offering consistent performance lap after lap.

Aerodynamics

The winglets on the fairing side panels generate downforce to reduce wheelies under acceleration and increase stability under braking. The drag coefficient is among the lowest in the class (0.270).

“Total Control” has been the Fireblade’s motto for 30 years. The Triple-R takes that control and sharpens it to a razor’s edge for the track.
